For older Skidsteers without an auxiliary electrical connection we also have an optional in-cab adapter to plug into your Aux Electrical Connected attachments that will allow you to run them. Plug the adapter into the attachment, connect it to12V and now you can run your new attachment on an older skidsteer.

D006730 Skidsteer plate extender adaptor

Depending on your skidsteer model, the boom might interfere with the back end of the rotor shield. This is a known issue on the Bobcat R series 86 models skidsteers and our Skidsteer plate extender adaptor is designed to set out the feller buncher to clear this interference.

The Bobcat R series 86 models skidsteers is a very big skidsteer so the weight of the tree should not be an issue but normally you want to have the weight of the tree in case close to the skidsteer so you can better handle it. The Baumalight Feller Bunchers are designed with closeness to skidsteer as a priority for best operator experience if the skidsteer allows it.

AUX ELECTRICAL CONNECTION FOR IN-CAB CONTROL IS STANDARD

For simple in-cab control, the FGS952 comes standard with Baumalight's Auxiliary Electrical Connection. This connection gives you simple quick connections and access to all the attachments functions using your machine's own controls.

34" Throat Opening

The Feller Buncher has a 34" wide throat opening at the teeth. This allows you to do a nice low cut on trees with a wide root flair.

OPEN FRAME FOR BETTER VISIBILITY

The upright frame of the FGS952 is open to improve the operator’s visibility while felling trees.

BENT AXIS PISTON MOTOR

Our industry leading bent axis piston motors make the most use of your hydraulic flow and pressure for your brush clearing needs.

HEAVY DUTY FRAME

Heavy duty frame with T1 alloy tool steel sheet metal for all the main areas. Powder coated frame with multiple anti-slip pads to give you secure footing for ease of entry and exit from your cab.

BLADE MOUNTED ON HEAVY DUTY BEARING SUPPORT

The saw blade is mounted on an overhung load adapter, which is designed with tapered roller bearings and built to stand up to the rigors of sawing limbs and trees. The overhung load adapter keeps the blade spinning in the toughest trimming conditions.

SAW BLADE SHIELDING

The durable shield encloses the blade for protection, directing the chips as it easily cuts through trees. Made with AR400 steel, the center log platform plate is designed to support the trees after they are cut.

THIN BLADE MADE OUT OF AR400 Steel

The FGS952 features a blade made out of AR400 steel, this high tensile strength material allows the blade to be thinner for less binding and drag from debris and sawdust.

CLEAN CUTS WITH B8000 BEAVER TEETH

The FGS952 makes clean work of cutting trees safely and quickly, leaving the trunks and stumps with a clean cut.
The teeth are also able to be rotated for new sharp edges.

POWDERED COATED

Our powder coat finish is much tougher than conventional paint to stand up to the rigors of forestry and helps prevent rusting.

ARMOURED AND SLEEVED HOSES

Baumalight hoses are sleeved for the operator and hose protection. A pivoting arm is also standard with a greaseable pin keeping the slack out of the way which protects the hoses from dangerous pinching and strain.

Bulkhead Fittings

Hoses that are routed through the frame are equipped with bulkhead fittings to prevent damage to hoses from sharp frame edges.

ROUNDED EDGES ON PUSH BAR/FELLER HOOK

To prevent trees from catching, the FGS952 is designed with rounded edges on the push bar so they more easily slid as you push into a leaning tree.

PRESSURE GAUGE

Feller buncher comes equipped with a pressure gauge that will give you a clear indication of your hydraulic oil pressure reading, and will be a helpful guide to ensure efficient performance.

6 FREE TEETH

The FGS952 Feller Buncher comes with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth can be conveniently stored in the enclosed spare tool compartment.

GRABBER ARMS

The grabber arms have a robust design and are made with AR400 steel. The adjustable swing speed allows the operator better control when grabbing trees.

FAST ARM MOVEMENT WITH A STRONG PULL

With a special hydraulic valve, we momentarily send high volume flow to the grabber arm cylinder which have special linkage to give a very fast and very strong pull to grab the tree before it falls out of reach of the arms.

BOLT-ON SKIS

The skis are bolt-on for easy replacement.

When it comes time to service, the FGS952 is designed with full access to for easier service.

GREASEABLE PINS

Our grease pins are zinc plated to prevent corrosion which will allow for smoother operation of the units joints over their lifetime.
