SERVICE AND INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS & RIGHT TO REPAIR

Baumalight offers customers a series of helpful service & instructional videos and supports the right to repair. These videos show you how to perform your own trouble shooting and repairs which can save you a lot of down time because many things can be fixed on the spot by end users. Also, after the warranty period is over, a lot of money can be saved if you can do things yourself following simple instructions on trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs.

The Splinter screw wood splitter features a heavy-duty encasement that locks into place for long-lasting durability.

PROTECTIVE POWDER COAT FINISH

Heavy duty construction and a durable powder coated finish.

PLANETARY DRIVE

Power comes from the Splinter’s hydraulically-driven planetary drive, delivering up to 3,800 ft/lbs of torque.

NO 12V ELECTRIC REQUIRED

With no extra electrical cables, connection is quick and easy.

MAIN SHAFT SEAL PROTECTION

The Splinter’s flange protects the main shaft seal to prevent damage to the Splinter’s bearings from possible debris.

SPLITTING FORCE

Much higher splitting force than a cylinder splitter with the same amount of pressure.

ONE PERSON MANEUVERING

One person can handle material without coming out of cab by drilling partially into the log and then carrying it to the desired location

HARDENED REPLACEABLE TIP

The Splinter’s entry tip if hardened for extra-long wear and replaceable for a longer life.

INTERNAL HOSE ROUTING

All of the hydraulic hoses on the Splinter are routed internally where possible and sleeved for operator and hose protection while the connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armor for double protection. The Splinter features travelling hose support and a greaseable pin on the hose support.

ANTI-SLIP MAT FOR EASY ACCESS TO CAB

For ease of entry and exit from the cab an anti-slip strip gives sure footing.

EASY TO CHANGE BITS

Easily change from splitting to grinding.

HEAVY DUTY 8-BOLT FLANGE BIT HOLDER

The Splinter features a heavy duty 8-bolt flange bit holder.

PRESSURE GAUGE

The Splinter’s pressure gauge allows you to view work load during operation.

PISTON MOTOR

Developing torque through a reaction to pressure-reciprocating pistons, this latest motor design has the cylinder block and driveshaft mounted on an angle which produces a reaction against the drive-shaft flange.

No Warranty can be provided on labour but you'll receive deep discounts through our dealer network as well as a 1 year warranty on parts* only. Baumalight understands this is not for everyone, but our discount program offers many benefits and we look forward to providing full warranty versions in the future once all product testing has been completed.

*Warranty labour must be performed by end user with no further compensation other than the deep discount off the original purchase price.
