Designed for Mini Skid Steers, the BMM230 is capable of efficiently cutting through long, heavy grass or small-diameter brush. Equipped with two AR400 blades featuring a 30" path width, the BMM230 Mini Barrier Mower is ideal for maintaining fence lines, guardrails, orchards, and vineyards. This fence line mower easily manoeuvres around obstacles such as fence posts, crash barriers, or trees. The Mini Barrier Mower can cut grass, but it's built to do more than just grass.
The unit's rear side, with a 30" open mouth, is protected by a sheet metal guard that helps discharge cut material away from the operator.
It comes standard with a manual angle adjustment that can be upgraded with an optional electrical actuator at an added cost which is a nice feature if you have rolling terrain.

ARMOURED AND SLEEVED HYDRAULIC HOSES
Baumalight hoses are sleeved for the operator and hose protection. A pivoting arm is also standard with a greaseable pin keeping the slack out of the way which protects the hoses from dangerous pinching and strain.
DIRECT DRIVE SYSTEM
Direct drive from the hydraulic motor to the barrier mower means high efficiency and fewer moving parts.
Hardened Steel Bushings
Spring Bushings made from high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel on all main pivot points.
Slasher Blades
Crafted from 1/4" AR 400 steel, the unique profile of the slasher blades provides increased cutting surface. The blade’s thin reversible profile continuously provides a sharp edge.
Two Cuts per Pass
As the rotating rotor mass throws the slasher blades at small diameter trees, the blade slices small sections away as the Barrier Mower advances forward. The curved cutting tips of the slasher blades give the Barrier Mower two cuts per pass of each blade. The leading tip takes a small bite and is immediately followed by the second tip taking another bite at 26–52 slashes per second with devastating results. Available in either 2 or 4 blade configurations the Barrier Mower’s reversible/replaceable blades are made of long lasting 1/4" AR 400 steel.
Blade Mount
To secure slasher blades to the blade assembly, Baumalight uses Gr. 8 bolts capped off with castle nuts and cotter pins. The blade mount uses a fully welded collar to drop the blade; this spacing helps to reduce the blade from binding while in operation.
2-Way Model
2-Way models feature a durable one piece rotor assembly. Constructed of a single 3/4" plate of steel and finished with a slasher blade on each end. The 2-way blade models provide up to 26 slashes per second.
FREE BLADE SET
All Barrier Mower come with a free set of replacement blades on a new purchase. These replacement blades are conveniently secured on the wooden shipping skid.
CASE DRAIN – VENT TO ATMOSPHERE
To prevent pressure relief activation on the motor seal, the BMM230 comes with a case drain line and a vent to atmosphere relief valve. In the event there is a spike in pressure in your hydraulic lines, the case drain will relieve the pressure and drain it back into the return line and back to the tank. If the connection of the case drain (third line) is missed or if the line is blocked, then the case drain will vent to notify you. A properly installed case drain protected by a vent to atmosphere relief valve will save the work of replacing your shaft seal and save you from down time of unexpected maintenance. Shield
To protect the output shaft from impact or contamination caused by debris, each model of Barrier Mower is finished off with a heavy-duty output shaft shield.

Quickly and easily mount the Barrier Mower to any mini skidsteer with the universal mount plate.
Anti-Slip Strip
Extra traction from anti-slip strips provides improved safety as well as ease of entry and exit from the cab.
